at the Ferry Landing cafe and Day Bar, Ferry Landing Coromandel.
Close to amazing walking tracks and fantastic beaches.
We are a happy team with a passion for good food.
Our seating capacity is 50+ inside and out.
We are a new Cafe wanting to grow and establish our business and looking for team members who can offer flexibility but still offer high standards and efficiency.
Our shifts are mainly day work, and include weekends.
The Cafe's hours at the moment are 4 days 10:00am to 4:00pm,
so plenty of time to enjoy the beaches and see the area.
We also cater private functions, and these may be in the evenings.
Experience in a similar style Cafe is preferable, but we are willing to train the right person.
We offer a consistent roster with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts over the busy Summer period as we extend our hours for that season. We will be closed from December 23rd to 27th.
Applicants must have a valid work visa or be a NZ resident.
Outgoing personality, confident talking with customers and understand great customer services.
Good hygiene, punctuality, calm under pressure with attention to detail.
Works well in a team environment and happy to jump in wherever they are needed, even doing the dishes.
Good communication skills, happy to ask for help if needed
and a great work ethic.

Volunteer at SPCA Thames

We are looking for volunteers on our dog team who are available between 8:00am and 10:am during the week, for one or more shifts.

SPCA’s Thames Centre has been helping animals
in the local community for more than 50 years.

We have a fabulous facility in Thames and our area covers
the Coromandel Peninsula and Hauraki Plains.

We look after 200-300 animals per year and are well supported by a dedicated volunteer network who care for the animals at the centre
and also foster animals when needed.
We also visit schools and speak at local community groups to help educate the public and keep them informed about our work.
