Thames Art Gallery, 604 Tararu Road is now taking reservations for tables/stalls at our annual Xmas Fair and Exhibit, to be held on Saturday, 26th November from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Handcraft and plants only..... cash sales only..... Limited inside tables $20, many outside tables $15. Large year was large, this year will be even larger. There will be food, drink and entertainment from TYEPO, the well known singing duo of Jo and Tina Haakma. Buskers welcome too. We'd love more entertainers, and a face painter. The Kerepehi Brass Band is starting a new daytime social group for those who may not be up to late night practises anymore. This social group will be held on Mondays from 1:30pm at our Band Hall in Kerepehi (14 Matai Street), starting from 3rd October. This group is NOT RESTRICTED TO BRASS ONLY so if you've played brass, woodwind or percussion in a previous life and you want to play again socially or wanting extra practice, come along, play some music and have a chat over tea and coffee.
