Sunday Afternoon Concert Features Claire Caldwell (piano) and Lisa Lorrell (voice)
Thames Music Group is excited to present a beautiful Sunday afternoon concert of voice and piano by top New Zealand musicians, Claire Caldwell and Lisa Lorrell.
Claire Caldwell, the director of Musicatalyst, a studio and coaching program established to allow access to the highest level of performance and learning environments, has been privileged to work with the country’s finest operatic talent both in the rehearsal room and on the concert platform through her work at the University of Auckland, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa Foundation, Auckland Opera studio, New Zealand Aria Competition and New Zealand Opera. This has marked Claire as one of the country’s most sought after accompanists, exclusively in collaboration with singers.
Claire is teaming up with Lisa Lorrell, an internationally acclaimed singer whose infectious energy brings life to every performance. With impressive credentials in both Musical Theatre and Cabaret, Lisa has enchanted audiences across the UK and New Zealand alike. Her dynamic storytelling and warmth make her performances truly special, whether she’s singing opera, musical theatre, or jazz. Every note she sings is infused with joy and passion, creating unforgettable experiences for her listeners.
Together, Claire and Lisa are set to create a heartfelt programme that will engage and uplift the audience, blending their unique talents with a shared passion for music.
