We are starting a Local News section to concentrate on getting the things that matter to our community in one place.
We are going to need a News Editor to arrange these news items, and moderate those supplied by members of the community. Not a paid position, but would suit someone who wants to be part of this community resource and who has a reasonable level of computer knowledge.
We can always teach the finer points to the right person.

Thames Valley Tangata Ora Trust is an organisation based in Thames providing support, advocacy, information and resources for Work and Income, Health & Disability and other related issues.
We also provide a social enterprise by way of a showroom where we sell and hire mobility equipment and daily living aids.
We need one or two volunteers (could be a shared role) to do regular hours to assist with running the showroom. Ideally you will need to have some sales, administration and IT experience and having some mechanical skills would be an advantage. Training will be given. If you are someone who
like interacting with and supporting people we’d love to hear from you.
We are also looking for a person with social media skills to volunteer for a few hours per week to assist with FaceBook and other social media/advertising. Maybe you’re a Mum or Dad and/or a person with a disability, who wants to improve skills and build up your confidence?
You would need to be available to come into the centre at times, too.
We are looking for people to volunteer for regular times each week and be part of a rewarding and passionate team.
If you think this could be you, please phone Robyn on 027 383 1117
