Celebrate the magic of Christmas, Waihī Beach style! 20 December • 4pm – 7pm • Waihī Beach Village With the help of Barfoot & Thompson Waihī Beach, we’re turning the Village into a festive wonderland for one very special evening of connection, community spirit, and classic Christmas cheer. Wilson Road will be closed so we can set up a beautiful long whānau-style table right down the centre of the Village. This is a place for friends, families, and neighbours to share kai, laughter, and holiday warmth. The community table runs 5pm – 6.30pm, but we’d love to see you down here from 4pm to enjoy the free activities, workshops, grotto, late night shopping and the Village atmosphere while Santa’s helpers work their magic. Bring your own kai and non-alcoholic drinks. Whether it’s a simple picnic plate or a full Christmas feast. We’ll sort the tables, chairs, and all the festive feels - you just bring the food and utensils 🍴 A free ticket secures your seat at the table, but everyone is invited to come down and enjoy the evening, whether you’re dining with us or not. Thanks to the generous support of Barfoot & Thompson, Western Bay of Plenty District Council, and the Tauranga Western Bay Community Events Fund, the Village will come alive with: Music and carolling (carollers from 5.30pm) Free photobooth, games, and face painting The famous LJ Hooker Santa’s Grotto Free festive workshops for all ages Local eateries open for dinner Late-night shopping A welcoming, joyful Village buzz Even if you’re not at the long table, you’re warmly encouraged to wander, shop, sing, craft, and soak up the Christmas magic.
