St John is run and staffed by people who are passionate about their communities and caring for fellow New Zealanders. We are a charity and have a volunteer ethos, with paid and volunteer members working side by side. We believe it’s important to develop strong communities to help people live independently, get the social connections they need and improve their wellbeing.
