It’s less of an art class and more of a time to take a breath and let the self expression flow. Making art can really help by bypassing the inner critic and allowing the nervous system to speak first, without judgement. What needs to be said comes out on the paper without needing interpretation and healing occurs beneath the layers of the conscious mind without retraumatising and without the need for talking.
